Northern-circuit safaris from three to ten days
Tanzania's northern circuit packs four world-class parks into a compact loop from Arusha: Tarangire's baobabs and elephants, Lake Manyara's forest and flamingos, the Serengeti's endless plains and the Ngorongoro Crater. Our packages string them together in whatever length suits your holiday.
Every safari runs in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof, charging sockets, a cooler box and unlimited game-drive mileage, led by a professional guide who will also translate, spot and explain. Prices below are per person for two travellers sharing mid-range accommodation and include park fees.

Questions about this trip
Private safari or group-joining — what is the difference?
A private safari uses one vehicle for your party alone, with departure times and pace entirely yours. Group-joining puts you with up to five other travellers in the same Land Cruiser at a lower price, on fixed dates. Both use the same guides, parks and accommodation standards.
What accommodation levels do you offer?
Three tiers: public campsites with our own tents and cook (budget), permanent tented camps and mid-range lodges (most popular), and luxury lodges or exclusive mobile camps. Quotes always name the exact properties so you can research them.
How much driving is involved?
Arusha to Tarangire is about an hour and a half; Arusha to the central Serengeti is a full day by road. Many travellers fly one leg — a light aircraft from the Serengeti back to Arusha saves a day of driving for around USD 290–350 per person.
Are park fees included in your prices?
Yes. Park entry, Ngorongoro crater service fees, concession and camping fees, government tax and our guide's park allowances are all included and itemised in your quote.

3-Day Tarangire & Ngorongoro safari
Day 1
Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Morning pickup, an hour's drive to Tarangire and a full afternoon game drive among baobabs and elephant herds. Overnight lodge or campsite near the park.
Day 2
Tarangire → Ngorongoro Crater rim via Lake Manyara viewpoint
Morning game drive, lunch, then the climb to the crater highlands with a stop at the Rift Valley escarpment viewpoint.
Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater game drive → Arusha
Descend at dawn for a six-hour crater drive — lion, elephant, flamingo and a genuine chance of black rhino — then return to Arusha by late afternoon.

5-Day Serengeti & Ngorongoro safari
Day 1
Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Afternoon game drive in baobab country; elephants gather along the Tarangire river.
Day 2
Tarangire → Serengeti National Park
Long, scenic drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area with an afternoon game drive on the Serengeti plains.
Day 3
Full day in the Serengeti
Dawn-to-dusk game driving in the Seronera valley — the best big-cat density in Tanzania, with picnic lunch in the bush.
Day 4
Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater rim
Morning game drive, then transfer to the crater rim with time for a Maasai cultural visit (optional).
Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Early crater descent and half-day game drive, lunch at Ngoitokitok Springs, then the drive back to Arusha.

Day 1
Arusha → Tarangire
Afternoon game drive; overnight near the park.
Day 2
Tarangire → Lake Manyara
Morning in Tarangire, afternoon in Manyara's groundwater forest looking for tree-climbing lions and flamingos.
Day 3
Manyara → central Serengeti
Drive via the Ngorongoro highlands and Naabi Hill Gate, afternoon game drive in Seronera.
Day 4
Full day central Serengeti
All-day game driving; optional dawn hot-air balloon flight over the plains.
Day 5
Serengeti — northern or southern sector by season
Follow the migration: southern short-grass plains December–March, the Mara river region July–October.
Day 6
Serengeti → Ngorongoro Crater rim
Morning game drive and transfer to the rim, sunset over the caldera.
Day 7
Crater descent → Arusha
Six hours on the crater floor, then return to Arusha or a connecting flight to Zanzibar.
